"Hunting fall and winter turkeys with my turkey dogs Junior and Dixie Lou is what I live for. And sharing the thrill with other hunters young and old. Working the hardwoods with the dogs, and the excitement of hearing them barking and seeing turkeys flying in every direction. Every outing is an adventure with new lessons learned and old ones revisited. I'm always learning new tactics and techniques. It keeps getting better every season, this being my fifth with dogs, I can't wait till the next time out."

"It's been a great fall season so far, we've had plenty of action. Started off at Gobblers Roost with Ron Meek and Gretchen, ended up with a nice double beard. We had articles in the PA Game and Fish magazine and Turkey Call magazine. We also got two kills on film, one with Paul Butski of Sportsmans Outdoor Strategies, the other with Macmillan River Adventures." 11/11/08 Hunting PA and NY

"We hunted Tennessee last week and it was a tough hunt, it rained every day. I had my male dog Junior, as Dixie was in heat and couldn't go. Later that week I got a hen and a young gobbler. I've had two litters of boytel spaniels and some are already successful in the field." 12/27/2008

Junior made the cover of the premier issue of Jakes Country magazine with two young hunters I took fall turkey hunting (2010), along with the photography editor of the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Junior made a great break, and one of the young men made a good shot on a nice fall turkey. It doesn't get much better than this.
