mother Shiloh survived record drought and heat from June
10 to August 27, a 5.8 magnitude Earthquake on August 23,
the 100 mph Hurricane Irene on August 27 with record
rainfall August 28. Widespread power outage August 28,
2011. Born September 2, 2011. She was Lucky to make it.

RECORD RAINFALL OF 5.36 INCHES WAS SET AT RICHMOND
VA YESTERDAY.THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 2.04 SET IN 1899. Winds have gusted over 70 mph in both Richmond, Va. and Williamsburg, Va. State Level Emergency Responders: FEMA says it has sent incident management assistance teams to staging areas in Virginia, in anticipation of further deployment to potential hurricane impact areas along the coast. Before moving into the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, Hurricane Irene made landfall near Ca The threat level from the eastern N.C. to New England is extreme. The potential for widespread damaging winds, flooding rain, and, in some locations, coastal flooding and storm surge is very real through Sunday. |

![]() Going back to 1851, there have been only 5 hurricanes whose centers of circulation have passed within 75 miles of New York City. The last hurricane within that distance from New York City was Hurricane Gloria 26 years ago. The last hurricane to cross the New Jersey coast was in 1903! The last destructive hurricane in the Garden State was the Great Hurricane of 1944. Note the impacts of the 1944 storm! It has been 67 years since a truly destructive hurricane affected New Jersey. Similarly, only 10 hurricanes since 1851 have passed within 75 miles of Boston. The most recent was almost exactly 20 years ago: Hurricane Bob. Again, note the impacts below from Bob. It has been 20 years since an impactful New England hurricane. |
