Obituary for SNOWY (1992

ONEIDA -- Snowy Freis, age 10, beloved dog and loyal companion of Aaron Freis, died Thursday at 6:38 AM October 10, 2002 at her home in Oneida.

Snowy was born June 5, 1992 in Green Bay WI, the daughter of a terrier and shepherd mix. She was rescued by Aaron from the dog pound when she was five weeks old. Snowy attended obedience school in Pulaski WI, graduating with the class of 1992. She had worked and played with the Freis and Martens families all her life. She was an avid squirrel and chipmunk hunter, and her greatest joy was pursuing the game.

She is survived by her master Aaron Freis, as well as many friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her friends Bear, Cookie, Stinker, Bandit, Patches, Joe, and Holly. Snowy was buried beneath her favorite squirrel tree in the Oneida woods today. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Friends may call anytime.

Snowy was a loving dog and will be sadly missed by all who knew her, including Einstein. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the Animal Hospital of Howard for their care.
